Alexander Calder and Eiffel Tower Under the Snow - Framed Vintage Artwork

$246.00

Just across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower in Paris is the Palais de l’UNESCO, the French headquarters for the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Alexander Calder, a modernist American sculptor, created Spirale for this cultural site in 1958.

This vintage French photograph illustrates an Alexander Calder mobile under the snow, with the Eiffel Tower as a faint ghost in the background. A perfect pairing of metal.

Custom walnut frame made in France set with a double, finely-textured, acid-free matting and anti-reflection plexiglass.

Frame dimensions: 16.25 × 16.5 × 0.5 inches
